The King's Foundation refurbished New Cumnock's outdoor pool, and King Charles III, then Prince of Wales, reopened it in June 2017.
The pool opens every year from spring to autumn, with the most sessions over the summer.

As a disabled person, on crutches, I was extremely impressed. We had booked in advance (recommended), and the staff were expecting us. We were treated so well. They knew our name, had the disabled access chair waiting for me…
Hadn't been swimming for a while, so it was good to get back in the water. What made it extra special was the friendliness of the staff, the temperature of the pool & the cleanliness of the facilities. It was so nice to see so many parents & grandparents encouraging their children to swim. Great pool, had a lively swim.
Fabulous! We were at the adults session in the evening. Our first time at a pool like this. Water was warm. Sun was shining. Good music playing. Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Inexpensive. Well worth the drive from Edinburgh!
Was there lastnight (1st Nov) for swim under the stars and the pool and the staff are fab. Really helpful for our first visit even thou they where busy with the night. Had a great time and a laugh with pool exercise and hot chocolate at end of the night. Will be back.

Love this place! Booked a private session for my daughter's birthday, which was great value and such a special experience for her and her friends (plus adults!) Staff are so friendly, the facilities are great and immaculately clean. Pool surprisingly warm.
Very clean, easily accessable changing areas, showers, and toilets. Pool temperature was surprisingly warm for a heated outdoor pool. Deck level so easy for those who can weight bear to get in and out of the water.
Visited for the final session of the season. Was lovely and warm in the pool and about 3 degrees outside. Very cool experience swimming outdoors at the end of November. Friendly staff, spotless changing area with large changing rooms.
